Meeting in PR 2012
The State Agency for Emergency Management, Citizen Corps programme in Puerto Rico and the Amateur Radio Volunteers Corps Puerto Rico invites all Radio Amateurs and communications groups to a meeting on April 27, 2012 at 9:00 am in the office of the State Agency for Emergency Management and Disaster Management. Located on Eleanor Roosevelt # 115 in the lounge Virtual Agency.
At the same we will be collecting the data from all Radio Amateurs on the island who want to belong to the communications programme. Also we will be listening to the feelings of the group and will inform you about courses and training to belong to the State Agency for Emergency Management, since the groups should be accredited and certified to volunteer agency for the State Emergency Management.GEM will be represented at this meeting by Mr. Luis Lamboy KP4BG.
- The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
- The Eastern North Pacific hurricane season runs from May 15th through November 30th.
